We Are Award Winners!

You may not know Jemma Clifford and Anna Price, but you may well have heard of the Rural Business Awards, established in 2014 from their home in rural Leicestershire. The duo wanted to establish an award that recognised talented businesses in the rural community and we are thrilled to announce that we are one of them!

We Are Award Winners!

TAP recently won the award for Best Rural Digital, Communications or Media business in the South East and we couldn’t be more thrilled. As a firm whose roots are firmly in the field of agriculture and land-based sector (excuse the pun), we couldn’t resist the opportunity to enter this prestigious award and we are so glad we did. And not just because we were winners…

We Are Award Winners!

Account Director Liz Tomkinson was delighted to represent the team at the awards ceremony which took place in Canterbury. “Reading through the booklet of finalists was truly inspiring, seeing how many rural businesses are making a success in their field,” commented Liz. ”

I was able to meet some really fascinating people – from farms who had diversified into tourism (offering holiday stays and animal care – from lambs to llamas) to shop owners focusing on sustainability, buying local, trying to cut out plastic and supporting local suppliers. All the finalists were making a firm stamp on the rural business map”.

Being part of an awards ceremony that celebrates and recognises the achievements of rural businesses means a great deal to us. In fact, being able to celebrate and promote the rural sector is exactly what we are about – we are passionate about attracting and empowering the next generation in the agricultural/rural sector, as well as celebrating food and farming generally.

We can’t wait to see what the national final brings in February! #WatchThisSpace
